Laurie Bimson has been a director of Guringai Tribal Link Aboriginal Corporation since 2009.

At the tender age of 57, Laurie discovered that he does in fact have some Aboriginal Ancestry mixed in there. On the back of this Laurie now goes by Uncle Laurie, and in addition to holding a position as Director of Guringai Tribal Link, Laurie is the owner and operator of Guringai Tours Pty Ltd, which is not an Aboriginal Corporation despite it’s misleading website claiming the business is Guringai Aboriginal Tours.

As if receiving a phone call from Bob Waterer were a winning lottery ticket, Mr Bimson wasted no time setting himself up at a Cultural attaché between the Black and White worlds despite having not a shred of actual Cultural standing, or understanding. Mr Bimson declared himself Aboriginal, declared himself an Authority, and has declared himself a Senior Man and an Elder, and an Uncle; not something Aboriginal People EVER traditionally do.

To this day Laurie Bimson remains a director of multiple corporate entities, including Guringai Tribal Link Aboriginal Corporation; and is still operating Guringai Tours, still advertising it as Guringai Aboriginal Tours, and is still occasionally unsure of which Culture he is claiming:

Laurie Bimson is not a Durag Custodian – there is no such thing as a Durag Custodian.

How much more blatant can he be, and how disinterested can Authorities be?
