In 2001, a non-Aboriginal man invents a ‘Tribe‘ based on guesswork and plagiarism.

In 2002, a local amateur historian begins repeating those same claims.

It’s now 2023 and those perpetuating this fiction are millions of dollars richer; profiting from stolen and fictional Culture, heritage, even our Ancestors. Presented here for the first time is a digital history of the organisations that spawned from this falsehood, and just some of their many ventures into a range of industries, from local councils, to the arts, from entertainment to academia; this group of 55 people claim to posses knowledge, reach and influence, none of which they can demonstrate, all based on a the lies of a single, White bloke named Warren.

It seems as if nothing will stop them, and nobody in any position of Authority cares enough to bother, or they prefer the knock-offs; either way it really hurts.

What started as a digital record of publicly available data, became a Sisyphean task of putting all the pieces together, in chronological order, to get a complete picture. What a horrifying picture it is.

The following digital archive demonstrates clear deception by Guringai Tribal Link‘s own L. Ron Hubbard(alike) Mr Warren Whitfield, Ms Tracey-Lee Howie and a slew of ne’er-do-wells outwardly presenting as community minded, Culturally informed Knowledge Holders when in reality they are nothing of the sort.

Demonstrating outright disregard for truth, zero accountability, and a racialised disdain for genuine Aboriginal People, Culture and Places; it seems certain these people will not stop misrepresenting themselves as “traditional bloodline custodians.”

Sadly this is a rare instance where you can very accurately judge a book by its cover.

You should use primary source research rather than show pages of other people’s work.
I spent years sitting in front of a microfiche looking through decades of documents, birth death and marriage, church records, police magistrate records etc. Everything I ever said was based on primary evidence.
You don’t even know how to reference your quotes in an accepted manner let alone do primary research.
All the evidence of who we are was presented to these very knowledgeable, professional and honest academics, who then checked my research and came to their own conclusions.
You don’t have these primary documents yet you call me a liar and plagiarist.
Show me where, anywhere that I have plagiarised other people’s work.
I studied science at JCU and am capable of doing my own research.
I spent years in Gosford Library’s archives searching for information, with the assistance of Geoff Potter.
I was always cautious not to make false claims or assumptions.
You seem to thrive on assumptions, and tend to make it your modes operandi.
Do some proper primary source research and see what conclusions you draw then.
What ever your grievances are, you should get over it and move on.
You have given me ample material to sue you for defamation.
I am considering my options at this point.

Jayson, you have proved nothing to any aboriginal community,
If you have an actual confirmation of aboriginality. It should be displayed on this site.
It seems your just another lost little boy slandering people that know who they are. Shame is all yours.
Tracey Howie and Warren Whitfield passed the Federal Courts Native Title Registration Test to sit a Native Title Claim. Look it up. That is there proof. After the government studied them and crossed referenced their geneology for a year. They do not have to prove anything to you. The Federal Court should be good enough for anyone living in this country.
The Federal Court of Australia agrees that Warren Whitfield and Tracey’s Howies direct family are Bungaree bloodline and they have proved it.
Your name is not on any of these applicable list.
If you are what you claim to be why would you try to slander your supposed own family. Shame
You’re just a new little boy to this fight and it seems you don’t know who you are or have no culture what so ever. That shame is al yours.
Guringai Tribal Link has kept honourable since it conception.
Tracey Howie has actually saved sacred sites for the family. What have you ever done.
I think you website is mostly made up bulldung and a shameful disgrace.

  You may be interested in looking a little closer at why the Native Title Claim you mention was withdrawn, under unusual circumstances, by the leadership of your organisation.
  
  I am sorry that you appear to have been misled by this group; you are far from alone; I have spent too much of the last week responding to many of you.
  
  I wish there was an easier way to show you what is apparent to me, and many, many others.
  Take care of yourself, reach out to anyone but other GuriNgai devotees, and things will get better with time.

    You are outright lying about the people you are reaching out to be a part of. I lived in Cronulla from the ages 3 to 7. I lived in Campbelltown for longer. So am I a Westie?? I attended North Lakes High School Jayson. In case you didn’t know, that’s on the Central Coast. I was born in Caringbah/Sutherland Hospital but my parents were living at Wyee. My father worked at the cement works at Wyee. They were living at Budgewoi when my sister before me was born, but guess what, she was born at Caringbah/Sutherland Hospital too. It doesn’t stop there. The sister before her was also born at Caringbah/Sutherland Hospital, yet my parents were living at Umina then. My mother didn’t trust and given we had a family member employed at Caringbah/Sutherland hospital, that is where she was comfortable to give birth. You have no idea of the stories of my family and the removals that DID occur. In her generation!!!
    Not that this is anyone’s business but you want it out there Jayson. No matter how hurtful it is, hey!!!
    You have crossed a line that is going to be very hard to come back from Jayson.

    You are NOT a Bungaree descendant Jayson. Sarah Ferdinand’s (Sarah Lewis, whoever you claim she is) was the daughter of Richard Wallace (Aboriginal) and Bridget (NOT Aboriginal. NOT Biddy Salamander) Who the hell is Biddy Lewis Jayson?? She certainly IS NOT Bridget. I DO HAVE A FULL COPY OF THE DEATH CERTIFICATE.     To identify your correct Aboriginal linage you need to be exploring who Richard Wallace was and where he came from.

To introduce myself, my legal name and the name appearing on my driver’s licence is Christine Lewis. I am a descendant of Biddy or Sarah Wallis / Salamander / Ferdinand / Lewis and “John” Lewis / Ferdinand or Ferdinando. Biddy was not the daughter of an Englishman as too many mistakenly assume, but an elder daughter of Bungaree and Matora.

My family have a strong connection to Marramarra Creek on the Hawkesbury River (where Biddy lived most of her adult life), having consistently been landowners there in an unbroken span of almost 200 years, until only the past decade. When I was young my family also had a house on Marramarra Creek which we stayed at quite often. Even though I live in Central Queensland these days, I have always identified as Guringai. I am now retired and although I have limited means I do get down to Sydney to visit relatives and the beautiful Marramarra Creek every few years.

I am most interested in your group’s Land Title Claim and aware of the boundaries covered by this claim.

I would like to be included on your email list, and if this can only be accomplished by my becoming a new member of the Guringai Tribal Link Aboriginal Corporation (if such is possible due to my interstate location) I would be very glad to do so.
