One of the difficulties with a case of this scale is keeping track of all the characters, and their relationships to the Cult, and each other. I hope this helps/
Warren Whitfield – QLD based GuriNgai Cult Founder, and biological Uncle to Tracey Howie. Claims Aboriginal descent through the fictional ‘Sophy’, who did not exist.
Paul Craig – Central Coast based, current follower of the GuriNgai Cult. Claims Aboriginal descent through the fictional ‘Sophy’, who did not exist.
Tracey Howie – Central Coast based, current Leader of the GuriNgai Cult. Claims Aboriginal descent through the fictional ‘Sophy’, who did not exist.
Kyle Howie – son of GuriNgai Cult Leader Tracey Howie. Kyle was raised in the belief that his family are Aboriginal, and does not understand that they are not. Claims Aboriginal descent through the fictional ‘Sophy’, who did not exist.
Neil Evers – claims descent through Sarah ‘Biddy’ Lewis, a real Ancestor we share. Mr Evers ‘discovered’ he has a single Aboriginal Ancestor several generations back, when he was 67 years old, and has been profiting and misleading the public since then.
Laurie Bimson – claims descent through Sarah ‘Biddy’ Lewis, a real Ancestor we share. Mr Bimson ‘discovered’ he has a single Aboriginal Ancestor several generations back, when he was 57 years old, and has been profiting and misleading the public since then. Mr Bimson also called me to advise he had ‘people there who could arrange to have me killed’.
Sharlene Leroy-Dyer – variously claims descent/connection to 5 distinct tribal groups, albeit inauthentically and seemingly without merit. Despite claiming association with so many, it’s proving an impossible task to find a single individual, let alone mob, willing to claim her.
Rebecca Hird Fletcher – Central Coast based, current follower of the GuriNgai Cult. Claims Aboriginal descent through the fictional ‘Sophy’, who did not exist. While Tracey Howie takes some time to handle the pressures of having their 20 year deception being unveiled for the world to see, Ms Hird-Fletcher has taken the reins as the ‘family coordinator.’
