Tonight’s the night for the Hornsby Shire Council Public meeting, in which they will vote on whether to implement their bogus ‘Aboriginal Heritage Study’.
This GuriNgai polluted research is intended to be the definitive history of the region, and will form the basis of future decision making – solidifying the very issues that just cost Hornsby Shire Council $36 million dollars.
Hornsby Shire Council’s website reads as follows:
The most significant decisions in Hornsby Shire are made at public Council Meetings which are held each month. All meetings are held in the Council Chambers at 296 Peats Ferry Road (formerly Pacific Highway), Hornsby. The meetings start at 6.30pm.
The meeting to be held tonight, Wednesday, 12 June 2024 includes the following agenda items:
Item 9 PC10/24 Report on Submissions – Aboriginal Heritage Study.
Item 10 PC11/24 Report on Submissions – Draft Planning Agreements Policy 2024.

Should Hornsby Shire Council endorse the bogus Aboriginal Heritage Study and Implementation Action Plan attached to Director’s Report No. PC10/24; one of the optional recommendations is this:
Long Term Actions to be carried out within three (3) to five (5) years of endorsement of the Study.
#18 Commission a suitably qualified Aboriginal heritage consultant to review the Aboriginal Heritage Land Use Planning Map and Aboriginal heritage management procedures.

So if it is pushed through by the GuriNgai and Hornsby Shire Council, they’ll try to get a second opinion in 3-5 years. Remember Mayor Philip Ruddock is trying to push this through the Council, the very same week Hornsby Shire Council have been ordered to pay back $36 million dollars for a park that wasn’t, assessed and approved by their hand-picked Aboriginal People, who are not actually Aboriginal.
The same non-Aboriginal People who will have the appearance of legitimacy should tonight’s motion be passed, by the very same people most influenced by the GuriNgai group.
All eyes are on Hornsby Shire Council right now, and more people are aware of the GuriNgai being a modern fiction than ever before. It will be interesting to see if tonight’s meeting will reflect that reality, or is Mayor Ruddock is determined to sink his own ship twice in one week over the same issue.
