To be absolutely clear, there is no evidence that the contents of the above email from Tracey Howie are true.

What this appears to be is clear evidence of Tracey-Lee Howie using a fictional suicide of a fictional member of her group, in order to have genuine Aboriginal People stop looking too closely. I wonder how many members of the 55 strong Guringai Tribal Link Aboriginal Corporation membership were aware this is how their self appointed ‘Elder’ and ‘Aunty’ conducts herself on their behalf. I wish I could be sure they would be as horrified as I am.

That this email appears to have been sent from, or part of a chain of emails connected to Northern Beaches Council is also deeply troubling.

Thankfully the New South Wales Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) is aware of this matter. ICAC is an independent organisation dedicated to protecting the public interest, preventing breaches of public trust and guiding the conduct of public officials in the NSW public sector.
